Our voyage to Chania, Crete’s westernmost city, was nothing short of spectacular. The city is a beautiful blend of the old and new, presenting a colorful tapestry of history, culture, and scenic beauty.

Upon arrival, we ventured into the Old Town, a maze of narrow, cobblestone streets lined with charming Venetian-era buildings. A visit to the historic Venetian Harbour was like stepping back in time, with its iconic lighthouse standing sentinel against the azure backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

We savored traditional Cretan cuisine in quaint tavernas, hidden away in unexpected corners, where local culinary delights like dakos and kalitsounia stole our hearts and delighted our palates.
